Our service terms are designed with ethical Islamic principles (Mu'amalat) at their foundation: prioritizing transparency, mutual fairness, clear expectations, and the complete absence of hidden fees or deceptive subscription traps.
Class Scheduling, Rescheduling, and Make-Up Policies
To ensure smooth educational progress while accommodating busy modern lifestyles, we provide industry-leading scheduling flexibility:
1. Regular Weekly Slots: Upon enrollment, students select fixed weekly lesson slots with their dedicated tutor to ensure consistency and habit formation. 2. Free Rescheduling with Advance Notice: Students may reschedule any session without losing lesson credits by providing at least two (2) hours advance notice via WhatsApp or the student dashboard. 3. Same-Day Make-Up Classes: Rescheduled classes can be made up at any mutually agreeable time within the current billing cycle. 4. Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Lessons cancelled with less than two hours notice or missed without communication may be forfeited to fairly compensate the instructor who reserved their time. 5. Tutor Absences: If an instructor is ever unavailable due to illness or emergency, QuranMethod will provide either an approved substitute tutor or an immediate credit make-up session.
Billing, Subscriptions, and Cancellation Transparency
We believe in complete financial transparency:
• Flexible Monthly Billing: Tuition is billed on a recurring monthly basis corresponding to your chosen weekly lesson frequency (e.g., 2, 3, or 5 sessions per week). • Zero Long-Term Contracts: You are never locked into an annual contract. You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next renewal date with zero cancellation fees. • Account Pauses for Vacations & Exams: Families may pause their subscription for up to two months during travel, school exams, or family emergencies, preserving accumulated lesson credits and tutor matching.
Student Code of Conduct and Classroom Etiquette
To maintain a sacred, respectful, and productive learning environment, students agree to adhere to basic Islamic educational etiquette (Adab):
• Punctuality: Joining the virtual meeting room on time so full lesson minutes can be utilized. • Appropriate Dress and Demeanor: Attending class dressed modestly and seated in a respectful, alert posture suitable for engaging with sacred scripture. • Respectful Communication: Treating tutors, staff, and fellow learners with kindness, dignity, and courtesy at all times.
Intellectual Property and Proprietary Learning Materials
All proprietary curriculum frameworks, digital worksheets, anatomical phonetics charts, audio guides, and articles produced by QuranMethod are protected by copyright law. Enrolled students receive a personal, non-exclusive license to use these materials for their own private educational study, with commercial redistribution or unauthorized duplication strictly prohibited.
Subscription Billing Cycles, Invoicing, and Auto-Renewal
Monthly tuition subscriptions are billed automatically on the same date each month corresponding to your enrollment day. Invoices and payment receipts are automatically emailed to the account holder and stored within your private student billing dashboard for complete financial recordkeeping.
Tutor-Student Academic Integrity and Non-Solicitation Policy
To protect student safety, pedagogical standards, and organizational integrity, all educational engagements between students and instructors must occur exclusively through official QuranMethod platforms. Students and tutors agree not to engage in private off-platform tutoring or financial transactions.
Limitation of Liability, Service Uptime, and Governing Law
QuranMethod strives for 99.9% platform availability. In the rare event of server downtime or digital interruptions, our liability is strictly limited to providing make-up instructional hours or subscription credits. These terms are governed in accordance with international commercial law and Islamic principles of mutual consent.
Fair Usage of Lesson Packages and Expiration Periods
Monthly class packages are designed to encourage regular weekly attendance. Unused lesson credits can be carried over for up to sixty days provided your monthly subscription remains active. If you need an extended hiatus due to school exams, childbirth, or extended travel, simply notify our coordinator to freeze your account and preserve your accumulated credits.
Student Technology Readiness and Classroom Setup Responsibilities
Students are responsible for maintaining an adequate internet connection and working hardware (computer/tablet with functional microphone and audio output) to participate effectively in live virtual classes. In the event of temporary local technical difficulties on the student's end, our tutors make every reasonable effort to accommodate make-up time.
Dispute Resolution and Ethical Settlement Protocol
In the rare event of a disagreement regarding scheduling, billing, or educational service, both parties agree to resolve the matter through good-faith dialogue, mutual consultation (Shura), and ethical conciliation prior to seeking formal legal remedies, reflecting the Islamic principle of settling disputes with equity and benevolence.
Annual Account Audits and Terms Updates
QuranMethod regularly reviews these Terms of Service to ensure ongoing compliance with international online learning regulations and consumer protection standards. Enrolled families are notified via email of any material changes at least thirty days prior to their effective date, ensuring complete transparency and peace of mind.
